Warhammer isn't one of those fantasy settings where things haven't changed in 2,500 years. Wissenland has three capitals, Wissenburg for Wissenland, Pfeildorf of Solland, and the independent city of Nuln where the Countess holds court because its no longer serving as the Imperial Capital, Altdorf having reclaimed that position. That's part of why Middenland effectively has two capitals, Middenheim and Carroburg, with competing dynasties that both hold themselves to be Dukes of Middenland. Thus leaving the current Empire with 10 Elector Counts. Drakwald was also destroyed, leading to the Elector of Middenland to push their claims. The Electorate of Solland was sacked by Orcs, its Elector slain, and the Elector of Wissenland pushed their claims on those lands. There are 12 Runefangs and the first College consisted of Twelve Elector Counts. That is of course a pure speculation on my behalf. With power armoured RTS action there and Total Warhammer it would not surprise me if 2020, when Fantasy is finished, a Warhammer 40k game could be the next logical step. With only one wishful source right now, I have my doubts how accurate these speculations are.įor people who did not get the news, CA seems also making "Halo Wars2". If other birds from Gamescom repeat the Chaos hint, maybe there is something going on with that rumour. It is not clear if he knows more then he can write or is simply wishing for Chaos at release, like over fans in forums all over the net who see the CGI trailer and just repeat "Chaos is in and playable" when CA so far said "only empire, greenskins, vampire and dwarfs". Suggesting the announcement may come in the future or could be done with unlocking Chaos by completing the campaign with another race first. In the article, the author hints strongly at Chaos as a playable race. There will be sieges, probably like the sieges in Attila. But weather effects, even some of the disturbing ones from the fantasy world, will be there.

Dwarfs want their old kingdoms and treasures back. Orcs come from the south (Strange, would have guessed middle east of the worlds edge mountain)

Karl Franz has to bring 11 lords on his side to unite the empire. So building a mage heavy army and then get not enough enegry in the battle is basicly the same screw up as in tabletop with freaking low dice rolls for the magic pool. you never know how much magic energy you got for your wizards before a battle. Karl franz has four quest battles, other heroes will have only one or two (if two quest battles will need 3-5 fights, it is enough) every race will have two special characters (Karl Franz and Balthasar Gelt? Grimgor and ?) quest battles have a small intro and ending cutscene (so, like the Karl Franz black fire pass speech?) campaign can be completed without doing a single questbattle. If you have some troops not unlocked that would be in that battle, you have less troops for the task. quest battles will have preset troops, that are unlocked by the time you play. quest battles will consist of 2-5 special battles skilltree progression will unlock abilities or spells and also the quest battles. it seem the number 30 were mentioned for hero levels. confirmed capaign start around 2502 (as suggested because Karl Franz get crowned) Mostly stuff we all knew from iother interviews. I heard a rumour that at the end, they would show some dwarfs but so far I found no confirmation. They seem to playing the Blackfire pass trailer around the clock.
